Description
This yarn was really fun to make, as I thoroughly blended different dyed bits of merino and silk on my hackles along with a small amount of silver angelina. The angelina fibers gives the yarn a sparkly appearance. I love the little colorful bits throughout this yarn, that I would normally blend out.
The merino was hand-processed from raw (picked, washed, dyed, combed). Silk is tussah silk top that I hand-dyed. Merino from small New England producer. Handspun in my home on my various spinning wheels.
3ply; 6.6oz/190gr; approx. 320 yards; approx. 10 wpi (worsted); soft
