Where does my item ship from?

From the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, Canada to Canadian & US addresses. I currently reside in Kings County. Depending on where I am at any given day your package may mail from Canning, Kentville or New Minas. Are you local? I can possibly arrange to deliver or meet up to drop off your order.

How long will it take to receive my order?

On average, you can expect your item to be made and/or shipped in as little as 2 business days, although I strive to turn around orders within 24 hours whenever possible. After that, you item will be dropped off at the post office for delivery. Delivery times are based on Canada Post shipping standards & Customs. Please allow adequate time for your item to arrive on time if it is a gift. The average to most Canadian addresses is 7-10 business days, to the US 10-12 business days, with standard mail (no tracking). There can be delays due outside factors such as weather & customs or higher volume periods such as holidays.

PLEASE BE AVAILABLE FOR CONTACT AT THE EMAIL ADDRESS GIVEN IN YOUR ORDER. Most of the time, orders become delayed because information (such as partial address) is missing, or because I have a question about a request.

I currently do not ship internationally (Canada & USA only).

I will happily cover the replacement or refund of packages lost in the post. Simply contact me to start the process. Canada Post will want to speak with you before issuing a refund if your item was sent with tracking. Otherwise, for standard mail I work on a good faith policy. I can say, in over 2 decades of mailing my products to addresses in Canada and the US, only a handful have actually gone missing. I can confidently say the mail is a reliable way to ship your package.

Shipping Rates

Free shipping on orders of $65 CAD or more, flat rate otherwise. Shipping rates are subject to change without notice. The cost of shipping has increased significantly lately, and I do my best to offer fair shipping costs usually at my expense. I currently ship exclusively with Canada Post.

What is your return policy?

Please review my official return/exchange policy, but if you ever have a problem with your order or are dissatisfied, never hesitate to contact me. I enjoy creating, and therefore I want you to feel the same joy and excitement that I put into making it. If you have not had a positive experience regarding your order I want to hear about it to have the chance to make it right.

Returns

CUSTOM ORDERS (SUCH AS ENGRAVING) & CLEARANCE ITEMS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
Custom & Clearance items are final sale, though I will certainly refund/replace errors in customization and manufacturing defects. Please contact me within 7 DAYS of receiving the product. Items that do not have specific customization ie. an initial/letter and not a name, I am happy to accept as a return.

RETURNS MUST BE INDICATED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF RECEIPT AND RETURN SHIPPING WILL BE AT THE EXPENSE OF THE CUSTOMER.
You must contact me directly to advise me of the return. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY GOODS LOST IN TRANSIT.
ALL RETURNS MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE SAME CONDITION AS THEY WERE DELIVERED AND IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKAGING.

EXCHANGES

If you wish to exchange your non-custom/engraved item for an item of equal value, you are free to do so at your expense if you inform me within 7 DAYS of receipt of the original item of your intention. Return shipping & the cost of shipping of exchanged item is the responsibility of the customer. Original item must be returned in original packaging in its original state. I am not responsible for items lost in transit. Custom items cannot be exchanged.

Direct deposit, no password required. It is helpful to put a note in your payment your order number or description of your order.

Can I have back engraving?

Back engraving options are available on individual product listings. Choose the style of back engraving you want in the drop down, and don’t forget to specify your engraving in the “personalization” box before adding to cart. There is an additional fee for back engraving. If you are not seeing this option on the item you are interested in, please contact me to see if back engraving would be possible.

Can I substitute engraving for a different font/word/date or more than one line of text?

I engrave manually and not via a computer, so I am limited on the size/number of characters that will fit. I usually give the maximum of what can be engraved as an option. If you see another engraving style elsewhere on the site and you would prefer it, please contact me to inquire.

What are the jewelry pieces made out of?

I work with several different materials. Each individual listing will have details on what each piece is comprised of.

This is a gift. What chain length should I choose?

Will you engrave on an item of mine?

I do not offer engraving on your personal items. I engrave manually; therefore I do not feel comfortable engraving on anything that cannot easily be replaced, just in case error occurs.

How often do you have sales?

I try to have a different sale every month. It’s hard to have sales on bulky items, such as handspun yarn due to the cost of shipping and the work that goes into creating the yarn.

Do you offer wholesale/consignment?

If you are a small business in Canada please fill out this form to inquire about wholesale or consignment. I would also consider US small businesses. Wholesale prices would depend on the amount requested, the more bulk the better the price (though there is limitations to how much I can make in a realistic period of time).

I am doing a fundraiser, will you donate items?

Tell me about your fundraiser and I’ll see what I can do to help.

Do you offer samples?

If you are considering a larger order for your event or business, I may be able to supply samples. Fill out this form and I’ll get back to you with what I could offer.

Will you sell your components for my own jewelry projects or business?

From time to time I will list jewelry components that I am overstocked in or no longer need in the Craft Supply section. Normally I have a limited amount of stock for my own products, therefore I am hesitatant to sell off my jewelry supplies. In the case of components I produce, such as engraved charms or ball headpins, please contact me to inquire. I may be able to help.

I’d like to feature you on my blog or for an article. Do you provide your items for review?

That is certainly possible! Tell me more about your blog or the article and I’ll see what I can do.

Would you consider writing a post for my blog?

I’d be happy to consider writing a guest blog post as a mutual benefit for us both. Fill out this form to inquire.

Will you spin some fiber of mine?

I don’t have a lot of time to spin fiber free of charge, but depending on what you want done, I’d consider it. I would not spin lace weight, it’s too hard on my hands.

How can I contact you?

I answer email usually in less than 24 hours. If you do not receive a response from me in 24 hours, check your spam/junk folder. If still nothing feel free to send another message. It is very rare that I do not respond to messages right away, so don’t hesitate to send another message. It is possible I never received the first one.
