Beyond the cable: this yarn was bred out of curiosity! It started with 2 separate 2-ply yarns of white merino top (1 ply) and colorful tussah silk I dyed (second ply). This was then re-spun together to make a cable (4 plies). I decided to re-spin to hand-dyed targhee top, making the final yarn a 5 ply! It is a very interesting yarn in construction, and I am tempted to keep it for myself. It’s also a soft, full (round) bulky yarn.
