Description
This yarn is comprised of merino wool from a small Maine producers that I hand processed before dyeing different hues of purple. It was then hand blended with gold iris angelina for added sparkle. Handspun into this 2-ply worsted weight yarn, I thought it reminded me of the amethyst geodes that are found along the cliffs here in Nova Scotia.
The merino fleece had a wonderful crimp making this yarn soft and bouncy.
