This yarn is by no means a literal translation of mint chocolate chip, but every time I look at it I crave ice cream! 2-ply yarn spun from white Merino wool top. After spun in its natural color, I dyed it a combination of dip dyeing and speckle dyeing in full water submersion, making it a self-striping yarn. Various hues of light green, turquoise, greys and dark browns, along with the natural color, form this unique skein.

Most of the time I dye fibers and roving before spinning, but once in awhile I like to spin the yarn first before having fun playing with color.
